We have a big, open working area as I cannot be contained I started my travel life taking my sister to the airport when I was 14 and wishing I was her. It continued with a career wish of travelling - a complete dream. After getting a tertiary qualification I escaped on my OE and have worked in travel ever since. The highlight was a three and a half month expedition on a truck from London to Kathmandu through adventurous places like Iran, Syria and Northern Pakistan. Now I have difficulty travelling without 10 pairs of shoes.. just in case..

Having visited over 60 countries, worked in Iceland for 3 winters, London for 2 years and Calgary Canada for 3 years, I cannot pinpoint one place that is my favourite. When I really think about it they are all my favourites for one reason or another. 

Having clients experience these places is my passion. My ‘bucket list’ is still very full with places to go and experience. I get huge pleasure in seeing young and old travel and fulfil their dreams and passions and have them come back to Galaxy Travel and share their experiences with us. 

I dream to travel, I live to travel and unfortunately I need to work so I can travel.

I have been in the travel world since 2008, where every day is different and I am constantly learning about all the new and exciting places this world has to offer. I have grown up with travel as my parents have always travelled a lot, and we have enjoyed many family holidays. This sparked my interest in travel.

I’ve had some pretty amazing experiences myself, from seeing the bright lights in Vegas, to the massive Grand Canyon, Contiki tour around Europe, relaxing in Fiji, short cruise getaways and snow-shoeing in Vancouver to name just a few.

It’s just as exciting planning YOUR travel journey & that starts from the moment you come in for the initial planning stages right through to hearing your travel stories on your return. Its awesome to be part of fulfilling peoples travel dreams. The world’s our oyster!

I came into the travel industry in 1996 when Jo and I purchased Galaxy Travel. I am a keen traveller so owning and managing a travel agency seemed a natural progression. I oversee the day to day office management, assisting with marketing, human resources and keeping the team of ladies on track. A big job at the best of times! I have been instrumental in the formation of the World Travellers Co Operative Group, and am very excited about Galaxy Travel having the opportunity to excel in a competitive market place.
